Young children learn best by doing, exploring and experiencing through discovery and play. At Elyss school this is our main mode of learning which we call active learning which is child-centred and coordinated by the teacher. Its a class filled with lots of activities to help build their fine motor skills in preparation for writing and critical thinking. There’s lots of play both indoor and outdoor to help build their fine and gross motor skills while at the same time absorb some vitamin D from the sun which is essential for strong bones in a growing child.
- Age Group: 2 to 3 year old kids
- Class Size: 20 kids in one class
- Session Timing: Morning 9:00 am to Afternoon 12:30 pm

Matching sound to pictures, sound to sound, pictures to pictures colouring pictures.
Practical Work
use of work space, handling apparatus like scissors, cutting along straight/curved/zigzag.
